In Medical World, a surgeon is a person who performs surgery to the patients. Surgery is a broad category of invasive medical treatment that involves the cutting of a body to be able to remove a diseased organ or repair a tear or breakage,  whether human or other organism. Surgeons may be physicians, dentists, or veterinarians who specialize in surgery.

In Visual World, a surgeon is a person who performs surgery to his visual elements. Visual surgeon’s operation involves cutting of visual elements to be able to beautify the unpleasant visuals, which can be anything from anywhere. For example: Cutting visual elements from background pictures, injection of some colors, beautiful treatment of typography. Visual surgeons can be art directors or design directors.
